Videos and Alternate Endings
Well, I suppose that this should actually be called “A Music Video and One Alternate Ending” but the other way sounds better, don’t you think? The first thing I have for you today is the infamous “other ending” to the Doctor Who episode: Journey’s End. The one involving a certain bit of TARDIS coral. Have you heard about it? It’s part of the reason for the online speculation as to whether or not Doctor 10.5 can grow a new TARDIS in his new Universe.
Well…see for yourself…
Journey’s End - Alternate Ending Clip:
This second YouTube offering is a music video using Snow Patrol’s song What if This Storm Ends? (from their new album A Hundred Million Suns.) It’s fairly Doctor/Rose-centric, but I really like the way it’s been put together. …And I adore the song. I admit it.

“Grow a TARDIS” huh? Interesting twist.
I’m still a bit grumpy about how they ended last season, to be honest. But that certainly won’t keep me from tuning in for the next.

Jack had some coral on his desk back in season one of Torchwood. Maybe someone else is growing a TARDIS?

Oh my gosh!!!! That makes it even worse as far as how Donna ends up!!! That is sooooo sad. I wish she could have been a companion forever, and his best friend. I thought their relationship was so real and so very moving.

you know…the doctor and donna are a bit rude to rose in that clip. one minute he says “the doctor in the tardis with rose tyler just as it should be.” the next he and donna are going on about how she’s now the perfect companion for him because of how smart she is. very frustrating. though it would have been nice to have left in the first but and the bit with the coral.
BTW The Vig someone else is growing a Tardis:
“The 28 October 2006 Radio Times, in an image of the Torchwood Three headquarters, identified a piece of large coral on Captain Jack Harkness’s desk as the beginnings of a TARDIS. John Barrowman, who plays Jack in Torchwood and Doctor Who confirmed that “Jack’s growing a TARDIS… It’s probably been there for 30 years. I suppose in 500 years he’ll be able to begin the carving process”. “

Perhaps that’s why they didn’t use it, Deb & Stephen.
And The Vig? *points at Stephen’s comment* What he said.
