Reaction Post: The Sarah Jane Adventures - Warriors of Kudlak (part 2)

This is the Reaction Post for The Sarah Jane Adventures series one - Warriors of Kudlak (part 2). Another decent story, I thought. It showcased Luke well.
What did you think? My usual disjointed thoughts on the episode lurk beyond the spoiler barrier. Come and join the the discussion.
I wonder why Luke is so much more affected by the teleport than Clyde is. Interesting. Clyde barely notices that he’s been transported. Luke’s brilliance saves the day once more! He’s quite good with computers, isn’t he? And also with picking locks, both metal and combination. Clyde is quite good with the quips and standing up for himself and the rest of the folks on the ship. In the end, though, it’s Luke who gets the Thank You Kiss. Mind you, don’t you think he should have asked one of the two girls in the car about girls?
I’ll bet that Sarah Jane gives thanks for her UNIT training often. That, and the Sonic Lipstick. Good thing that not much is deadlocked here on Earth. It’s also handy to have Mr. Smith around when you are trying to figure out which aliens kidnapped your son. (I’d just like to mention here that I want Sarah Jane’s attic.) Don’t Kudlak and his “Mistress” know how dangerous it is to get between a Mother and her child? Well…they do now.
Yay for Maria dealing with Mr. Grantham! Zap! Good shot. I also like how calm she can be when dealing with trouble, and yet take a moment to enjoy the beauty of the Earth down below. Good job explaining the difference between games and reality to the “Mistress” as well.
Did anyone else notice that Kudlak runs a bit differently than a human? Perhaps it’s just that Paul Kasey rules at creating alien movement. Speaking of aliens, I wonder what sort of aliens those motorcycle helment wearing guards on the ship are. Slabs, maybe? Except, I don’t think that Slabs (like in Smith and Jones) make noises. Here’s hoping that Kudlak manages to find some of the children he sent away before.
