Reaction Post: The Sarah Jane Adventures - Secrets of the Stars Part 2

This is the Reaction Post for The Sarah Jane Adventures series two - Secrets of the Stars (part 2).
I have been informed by a kind commenter that we can look forward to the Sarah Jane Adventures in the US after it plays out in the UK. (At least according to this post on the Wired blog.)
As per usual, my rambling reactions to this episode are hidden behind the spoiler barrier. Click if you dare.
What did I tell you? Luke. The fellow with no birthdate saves the world. He was like the Anti-Ancient Lights. He broke the circuit. Good thing that the Taurus crew were the last to go, though. That left Sarah Jane and Rani’s dad free at the end. And speaking of the end, Clyde is right. They do seem to spend an awful lot of time running away from the scene of their saving the world.
Do you suppose that someone on the clean up crew knows who they are? For that matter, I wonder what agency might be in charge of a clean up like that. UNIT, perhaps? Hmmm… At least there wasn’t all that much to clean up this time. Physically, I mean. Mr. Trueman melted away to light, and everybody else was under a spell that broke when he left.
I wonder what sort of pattern that the Ancient Lights needed the stars to be in. Obviously a straight line will never occur.
How many times has part of the population of the world been hypnotized now? Twice? It’s dangerous to live in the Whoniverse, I tell you.
Well, at least now Luke has a day to celebrate. One in which he saved the world…again. It was fun to see him mess with Clyde about the up/down thing. Normally it’s the other way around with Clyde annoying Luke. Different is good.
Hopefully Clyde will get a new mobile phone soon.
