Question: Favorite Series 3 Baddie?

This week I would like to ask you about the part that every actor seems to wish to play on Doctor Who: The Baddie. I suppose that must be the part that provides the most fun in an episode. So, I ask you: What is your favorite Doctor Who Series 3 baddie? I know that it is difficult to choose, but give it a go. I’ve even provided you with a list to help jog your memory.
The Bad and the Ugly:
- The Empress Of the Racnoss
- The Plasmavore known as “Florence Finnegan
- The Carrionites
- The Macra
- Daleks
- Professor Lazarus
- A Sentient Sun
- The Family of Blood
- The Weeping Angels
- The Futurekind
- The Toclafane
- The Master/Harold Saxon
- Someone I’ve neglected to mention (shame on me)
There was quite a diverse crop of baddies to be had this year. From humans to a sentient Sun, there’s a lot to choose from. I confess, however, that my favorite Doctor Who series 3 baddie is The Weeping Angels from Blink. They were just such a creepy and clever idea. I’m not sure that I will ever look at statues the same way again. You will find no little cherubs in my back garden.
That’s my choice. What’s yours?

As much as I adore the Master, I’m going to have to pick those dang Weeping Angels! Still - STILL to this DAY - angel statues freak me out! Absolutely brilliant!

I was looking in the garden center this weekend, and found myself in the statue section. I decided that I just couldn’t bring myself to buy one.

The Toclafane.
It was a tough choice between them and the angels, though.
I have to admit it was freaking creepy to see that Futurekind had been turned into the Toclafane and to have that boy’s “face” talking to Martha and go all evil.

The Daleks and the Master were great, but the weeping angel just got there for me. It was probably because Steven Moffat, my favourite writer, wrote them as scary.

S, weren’t the Futurekind the folks with the pointy teeth? Either way, the Toclafane were way scary.
Toby, Steven Moffat does indeed rule. Did you see that he’s writing the Doctor Who bit for Children in need this year? Weeping Angels. best baddie of the year.
