News and Such or Billie: Yes or No?

Rumors abound about Billie Piper returning to play Rose. The most recent ones I’ve seen have her scheduled to appear in one of the specials during the non-series of 2009 or during the last three episodes of the fourth series. Billie herself has said that she isn’t planning on returning to the show anytime soon (one reason she has stated for this is that she is thinking about starting a family in the not too distance future) and is sort of mystified about where the stories keep coming from. Oh, how conflicted this all leaves me. I would love to see Rose return, but…I’m afraid that they would screw it up somehow. You know? I’ll let you know if I encounter anything a bit more…official.

What better to get to accompany your TARDIS hub than a Dalek Webcam? (I’m thinking I should add both to my birthday list.)
Kelly-Marie Angell, a Sound Editor for Doctor Who, has won an award for her work on the show. Way to add those noises, Kelly-Marie!
AWM is reporting that Steven Moffat, scriptwriter extraordinaire, has been tapped by Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson to write the scripts for their upcoming trilogy of Tintin movies. I wonder if he could write these and still have enough time for an episode for each of the next few series of Doctor Who. I see no sign of this on the IMDB yet, but who knows. I wanted t see the Tintin films anyway. If Steven Moffat writes them…well…I’ll be first in line.
And finally, for some spoilery casting and baddie information for the fourth series of Doctor Who go to the official website. May I just say…ooo! I was right! This is going to be so cool.

A word about the Dalek web cam. I picked one up for a very good price via Amazon. It’s very cute, especially when it’s plugged in and the lights come on.
Don’t expect very much from the web cam side though. Very poor.
