Sunday, July 6th, 2008

episode-13-donna-official.jpg

The is the Reaction Post for the final episode of Doctor Who series four - Journey’s End. Before I finish this write up, I’ll probably have to go watch it again. This may explain why this post was a bit delayed. Before you ask, though, I loved this episode. And I did cry.

Now, for my very scattered views on this episode come on past the spoiler barrier.

Reaction Post: Doctor Who 4.10 - Midnight

Saturday, June 14th, 2008

crusadertoursofficialsite.jpg

This is the Reaction Post for Doctor Who series four, episode ten - Midnight. This is the first of four straight Russell T Davies (OBE) episodes. (Did you hear that he’s got an OBE now? Well…he has.) Actually, we only have three episodes left. Can you believe it? The Doctor-Lite episode is the next one, for the record. At least, that’s what I understand. We’re coming into the final stretch, folks. (Fun Fact: Professor Hobbes is played by Patrick Troughton’s son, David.)

What did you think of this one? Come discuss it with me past the spoiler barrier. You know you want to.

Reaction Post: Doctor Who 4.9 - Forest of the Dead

Sunday, June 8th, 2008

thelibrary.jpg

This is the Reaction Post for Doctor Who series four, episode nine - Forest of the Dead. This is the second half of Steven Moffat’s offering for this series. I really feel like I need to see this episode a couple of more times to catch a few more nuances. But in the meantime, sneak past the spoiler barrier for my usual disjointed brand of discussion.

Reaction Post: Doctor Who 4.8 - Silence in the Library

Saturday, May 31st, 2008

doctordonna2.jpg

This is the Reaction Post for Doctor Who series four, episode eight - Silence in the Library. This is the first half of Hugo and BAFTA-award winning Steven Moffat’s two-part contribution to this series. I’ve been waiting for this since he let the title slip during Gallifrey One earlier this year. All I’ll say up here is that it was worth the wait. For more info in my usual disjointed fashion, click past the spoiler barrier.

Saturday, May 17th, 2008

unicornandthewaspagathaofficial.jpg

This is the Reaction Post for Doctor Who series 4, episode 7 - The Unicorn and The Wasp. It looks like Gareth Roberts is the new person in charge of writing the “The Doctor meets a famous person” episodes. What did you all think of this last episode for two weeks?

My usual brand of disjointed commentary lies within. Why not come and join the discussion? I’ll just go get the kettle on…

Saturday, May 10th, 2008

thedoctorsdaughterofficial.jpg

This is the Reaction Post for Doctor Who series four, episode six - The Doctor’s Daughter. I’ve seen the episode only once, but I think that it is safe to tell you that I want to see it again. That’s not too spoilery, is it?

Oh! You wanted to actually talk about the episode, spoilers and all? Well then, why not come and discuss it with me past the spoiler barrier?

Reaction Post: The Sarah Jane Adventures - Warriors of Kudlak (part 1)

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

luke.jpg

This is the Reaction Post for The Sarah Jane Adventures series one - Warriors of Kudlak (part 1). As per usual we are left with a worrying cliff-hanger. They love doing that to us, don’t they? Well…I suppose that it’s the tradition to have cliff-hangers in the Whoniverse. Le Sigh.

If you’d like to join me for my usual disjointed reactions to this episode, click past the spoiler barrier…if you dare!

Reaction Post: Doctor Who 4.5 - The Poison Sky

Sunday, May 4th, 2008

doctordonna2.jpg

This is the Reaction Post for Doctor Who series 4, episode 5: The Poison Sky. It was the second half of our first two-parter of the year. What did you think?

Apropos of nothing, I made crumpets this week for the very first time. I just had to share with the world. I know. I used the kitchen. Don’t faint.

Back on topic, come and discuss this episode with me beyond the spoiler barrier. You know you want to read my disjointed thoughts on the subject.

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

doctordonna3.jpg

This is the Reaction Post for Doctor Who series 4, episode 4 - The Sontaran Stratagem. I apologize for not getting this post up sooner, but I didn’t actually see the episode until late Sunday night. On the bright side, I got an amazing about of Old School Doctor Who stuff from a friend. Once I get a chance to go through it all, I may have some classic gems to share with you.

If you would like to read my usual disjointed reactions to the current episode, click past the spoiler barrier.

Reaction Post: Doctor Who 4.3 - Planet of the Ood

Sunday, April 20th, 2008

doctordonna2.jpg

This is the Reaction Post for Doctor Who series 4, episode 3 - Planet of the Ood. Anyone else notice a trend in some episode names? Some previous “Planet of” names are: Planet of Giants, Planet of the Daleks, Planet of the Spiders, and Planet of Evil. Just a bit of trivia.

Did you like Planet of the Ood? Why not come and discuss it? My usual brand of rambling reaction lurks past the spoiler barrier.

Click it if you dare.

The episodes for this show are half an hour long, and each story seems to be two episodes long. If you wish to discuss it with me, then click past the spoiler barrier.
