As Promised…

Greetings! I have returned from my vacation. It was fun, if not as relaxing as it might have been. One highlight for me was locating a copy of Paul Cornell’s book, Human Nature for half of the cover price. I didn’t find the other book I was looking for, but that certainly made my day. By the way, I’ll try to have my review up on Wednesday, as I am bringing you your weekly video early. Now, as I previously promised, I bring you the 2007 Children in Need Doctor Who Special: Time Crash.
Enjoy the interaction between the Two Doctors, and join me in appreciating the skill of Steven Moffat and both actors. Not many folks could manage to fit that much story into eight minutes of air time.
But Wait! There’s more!
That’s right. I’m not content to merely bring you the episode itself. With the assistance of frequent commenter The Vig, I also offer you the behind the scenes featurette. In this video, we get to see how Time Crash was put together…and discover we are not alone in our fandom. By the way, at one point Peter Davison talks about his two young children, so before you ask the same question I did, his birth date is 13 April 1951. Which makes him currently 56. Enjoy!
And finally, just when you thought the videos were done for this week, I have one more. You may recall that John Barrowman was scheduled to appear as part of the Children in Need appeal this year. He did, and he sang “Your Song” which is also one of the tracks on his upcoming album. How could I resist? He’s such a fantastic singer. Okay, he’s handsome too. So, watch the video already.

The bit about the desktop theme gets me every time.

I think Ewan McGregor did it better, frankly.
No objections here, I’m not asking for my 3 minutes back, I’m just sayin’.

Oh, but Time Crash was wonderful! Brilliant! I even got a little misty-eyed towards the end. Thanks for posting it, Elisa!
