Another News Roundup

Just a few things to talk about on the roundup this time around, but as the third series is rumored to be starting at the end of this month (in the UK), I thought I would feature a picture of The Doctor’s new companion. Martha Jones will be played by Freema Agyeman, who also had a small part in Army Of Ghosts last season. Rumor has it that there will be an explanation as to why Martha looks like the woman from Army of Ghosts, but then, there was supposed to be a reason why the 10th Doctor had a similar accent to Rose and the line got cut. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if this bit makes it in.
SciFi Weekly recently interviewed David Tennant about Doctor Who seasons two and three, and they also discussed Freema. I have to say, though, that this interview looks familiar. I wish I could remember why. Oh, well. Enjoy it anyway.
Apparently, The Zarbi will not be returning to Doctor Who. Aw. David Tennant will be so sad. What the heck am I talking about? Well, in the next Doctor Who Magazine, it looks like the some familiar names are interviewing each other on such interesting subjects as the TARDIS bathroom situation and the aforementioned Zarbi. Obviously I need to get a copy of this one.
And finally, Billie Piper, who is currently appearing on stage in the West End Play - Treats, will also be appearing in the show Top Gear on Sunday. It seems that she will be driving around their track a few times. Please remember to wear your seatbelt, Billie.
Well, that’s this week’s roundup. More news as I find it.

Another bit of news,
The offical website has a link to Youtube. Apparently the BBC has posted two video diraries. The first one is David about his new costume and the second is about Freema’s first day.
btw do you know what the reason was going to be for the accent?

Wow! That’s his new companion? Excellent. She’ll take his mind off missing Rose soon enough. (I can already see the episode sometime in the future in which Rose reappears to find that the doctor’s flitting around the universe with a hot companion - fireworks guaranteed).

Well, steve, I guess that we’ll have to wait and see. I *have* seen the trailer for the next season, though…and it looks like the relationship between The Doctor and Martha will be a bit different. Either way, she’s certainly easy on the eyes.
